Is there some problem with the 48 network in Galway? Do 48 have a network status page? My Brother and I both haven't been able to make/receive calls, make/receive texts or use the Internet since Friday night. I had a friend, on 3, call me and the message she got was 'The number you have dialled cannot accept this call...'. When I try to make a call it just says 'call failed'.

I've been a member of 48 since July last and it's the same phone I've had all that time, an iPhone 5. No iOS updates or major changes to the phone, this week anyway.

I usually leave the phone on Automatic network detection but I've also tried selecting 48 manually. I've entered APN, MMS settings as documented by 48 and I've tried no settings. I've turned the phone off and on multiple times. Any ideas or other things I can try?

You should probably contact 48 support to ask about service issues:

http://www.48months.ie/help#ask-a-48-agent

48 don't have a service status checker as far as I know.
There probably have one in case that tells you anything?

By the way some of the internet APN configuration instructions on the site are wrong.
You should follow these instead:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/nexus-5/m-p/33205#M11511

Hope this helps.
