Recently my one plus one keeps dropping connection to network.
It cycles from H+ to H to no bars.
I got a new sim.because the old one seemed to be scratched, but that hasn't helped.
I have also tried the sim in another phone, and it has worked OK.
Is there any settings I should check to make a difference?

Do your settings match the ones here?

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/Internet/m-p/34493#M12560

If they do and it still doesn't work then you'll probably need to contact 48 support

http://www.48months.ie/help#ask-a-48-agent

Hope this helps.

I'm using these settings

APN - 48months.liffeytelecom.com
MMSC: http://mmc1/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 10.1.11.19
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 272
MNC: 11
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: default,supl,mms

From this link
http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/Internet-Settings/m-p/78#M1
I changed the authentication to PAP this am so will see if this helps.

I thought the APN settings were just to do with data, not calls and texts. Am I wrong in this?

Authentication type should be left blank in spite of what some instructions on the site say.
APN settings are just for data and mms so should not affect calls & texts.
Are you sure that you have roaming and data roaming enabled too?

If the sim works OK in another phone but not your opo then either there's something not configured correctly or else there's a problem with the phone.
Could you try somebody else's sim from any network in you phone to see if it works?

Also switch off, take the sim out, clean it gently, reinsert it making sure that it's seated securely, switch on and search for networks and connect to 48 again in case that helps.

Odd - I don't really see why updating the Android system would make a difference?

Unless it somehow did some sort of reset/restore as part of the process?
