You seem to have an iPhone?

If so then you need to do this:

You can also optionally buy EU roaming texts and/or calls add-ons:

If you don't then you will need cash credit on your account to make/receive calls and send texts.

Remember that 48 don't support data/internet while abroad so you will have to use wifi where available.

Ok bought the add on's 2 hrs ago and still noting. O2-uk comes up but not bars signal
Any othe suggestions pls?

Did that help at all?

As that link explains when you are roaming abroad on 48 with an iPhone you may have to try many times to get it working on the foreign network.

This is an iPhone/Apple issue and not something that 48 have control over.

It also affects other networks (e.g. Tesco).
