Samsung galaxy s3 no 3g.

Hi guys, Ive been having trouble with the 3g on my phone for a while now and it's becoming an issue as I rely on my phone a lot more these days. My phone connects to H signals yet never 3g, no matter where I am. The configuration message process changes nothing and I can't find a thread with a solution. I'd like to avoid switching network as it'd be a lot of hassle. Thanks.

Delete any existing APNs that are configured and then use these instructions to configure one for internet and MMS access.

Unfortunately not no. I've done this before too, still only H. When I get home I'll try with another sim and see if the sim is faulty.

Why do you say "only H"?

That is HSDPA which is 3G (actually 3.5G) albeit not the fastest possible which you may not always get (e.g. H+ = HSPA or HSPA+).

I just re-read your original post and I think you're confused:

If your phone says "3G" on the signal bars then that is WORSE/SLOWER than H or H+!
