Hi im going to Portugal next week I need to be able to make calls to a Portuguese no while I'm there it's essential to be able to ring people ... What do I need to do to set thing up ??

You will need cash credit to cover the cost of outgoing and incoming calls and outgoing texts.
Or you can buy EU roaming add-ons which are often more cost effective

48 don't support data roaming abroad so you will have to use WiFi where available.
