Hi guys,

I'm in France and I can't pick up any service on my iPhone 5. It's searching for a network every minute or 2. When I go into the Carrier menu, when it's there, I can't switch off the Automatic setting. As soon as I try, the phone starts searching again and the Carrier menu disappears. HELP!! Thanks, Neil

You just have to keep trying.
Try toggling airplane mode on and then off and then try.
It may help to get the phone to connect to the local network briefly allowing you to see and change the relevant seeing.
