Going away tomorrow and I want to know if my 3G will work when I'm out of the country

No - 48 don't support data roaming while abroad.

And it looks like you may be using an iPhone so you might want to be aware of this iPhone roaming issue:

Tesco Mobile advise their customers to change the roaming profile setting before travelling otherwise it can be hit and miss changing it when abroad as has been reported many times here...

If you don't do this before travelling it can take many attempts to change it when abroad - you have to be lucky and catch the option while the phone briefly has a connection to the local network and before that connection disappears.
