Obtaining a copy of call records

Hi,

I'd like to know how to about obtaining call records from 48 to prove whether or not a phone call occurred at a particular time. The phone in question is an old iPhone that doesn't maintain a very long call history, and besides, a network's records are more authoritative than an phone's inbuilt ones.
