iPhone 4s has no hotspot

There is no personal hotspot in my settings... Please can someone help

This is due to yet another annoying iPhone "quirk".

For all the assumed ease of use of iPhones they seem to cause no end of problems in circumstances such as trying to configure a personal hotspot, using them on a virtual network such as 48, roaming abroad/returning from abroad, getting the phone/iMessage/FaceTime activated/working etc.

I've never had any of these problems on Android.
