Hi I'm in the Canary Islands and I can't get any network. I have paid my roaming bundle. I briefly get connected to moviestar network for a few signals. Then I go back to searching.... Again. My friend is fine on moviestar. She is an 02 customer. I'm on iPhone 5. Thanks

iPhones can need activation on a new network to work properly. This may be the case here. This may require some cash credit and maybe a wifi connection or a sync with iTunes.

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/iPhone5/m-p/31261#M10171

Hope this helps.

OK. It's not certain that iPhone activation is the issue here.
But that's an inconvenience with iPhones and new networks in some situations.
Do you have a current valid membership?
Does anybody else have an unlocked phone that you can try your sim in?
If all else fails you might need to contact 48 support for advice:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/How-to-get-help/m-p/4038#U4038

Hope this helps.

The usual iPhone hassle when roaming...
See here:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/iPhone5/m-p/36082#M13865

As I say there you'll have to try until you can catch the relevant option.

Hope this helps.
