EU add-ons not working

I've just landed in a foreign country and the add-ons I bought don't seem to be working.
Trying to text a UK Mobile. Have the +44 prefix inserted correctly.
I was however able to text an Irish number.

Iceland is not in the EU.

But the EU roaming add-ons are supposed to work there:

That surprised me.

Anyway my guess is that you're using an iPhone and face the same roaming problem as countless other iPhone users.

Do you have an EU texts add-on with a non zero balance?

If not do you have cash credit to cover the cost of sending texts?

Can you receive texts?

BTW - the EU roaming text add-on only covers texts to Irish mobiles or mobiles in the country in which you are roaming. Other international texts are charged as normal from your cash credit balance. This may be why you could not text the UK earlier?
