Q. What membeship can I get for €10?

A. Standard or Guido.

Q. What happened to Standard membership recently?

A. The allowances bundled with Standard memberships bought on/after 10th June 2015 were reduced.

Q. What allowances used to be available on Standard membership?

A. Standard memberships bought before June 10th 2015 provide unlimited any Irish network mobile minutes (subject to a fair usage limit of 10,000 minutes), unlimited any Irish network mobile texts (subject to a fair usage limit of 5,000 texts), 60 Irish landline minutes, no data.

Q. What allowances are available on Standard membership now?

A. Standard memberships bought on/after June 10th 2015 offer provide 300 any Irish network mobile minutes, unlimited any Irish network texts (subject to fair usage limit of 5000 texts), 60 Irish landline minutes.

Q. What about memberships bought before June 10th 2015 and stacked on my account?

A. Such pre-purchased memberships offer the old, more generous, benefits.

Q. What allowances do I get with Guido membership?

A. Same as "new" Standard membership but also ... 1GB of data and unlimited WhatsApp usage (even when membership data allowance is exhausted).

Q. So why would I ever buy "new" Standard membership?

A. You shouldn't - Guido is better value.

Q. What should I do?

A. If auto renewal of membership is enabled on your account and Standard membership is selected then make sure to change this to Guido (or whatever other membership you want now that Standard membership allowances have been reduced).

Q. So why do 48 continue to offer Standard membership? Why don't they just withdraw it and switch any existing membership auto renewals on Standard to Guido?
