Will the 15G of Internet work in Wales on my holiday??? Or would it be a waste buying some ?

No - it won't work.

48 don't support data while roaming abroad so you are restricted to wifi where available.

Unfortunately not.

If you're dependent on data then perhaps you could get a cheap SIM locally and use that?

Of course it wouldn't use your normal Irish mobile number that you use on 48.
