Issue sending text to English/NI number

I have tried to send a text to a NI number a few times today but each time I get 'can't send'. I was able to send and receive texts from the same number last week. Anyone know what the problem could be?

You need cash credit to cover texts to UK numbers - 25c each.

Do you have any cash credit on your account?

Dial *100# to get your credit balance.

If you don't have cash credit then you need to topup your cash credit balance.

Not relevant here but in case it's otherwise of interest to you then calls to NI landline numbers via the 048 prefix are (as far as I know) covered by your regular landline mins allowaces.
