My phone never diverts to voicemail. I read the tutorials and tried the codes to activate all three options but each time it said unknown error.

Are you following these instructions?

They work for me.

At what point exactly does it say error?

And what is the error?

Make sure you use the correct number format.

E.g. if your number is 0891234567 then the number you use in many of the codes is +3538951234567.
