When you scan for networks what do you see?

Can you see 48?

What happens when you connect to it?

If you cannot connect to it then the iPhone may need activation on the network.

This will require at least 25c cash credit on your account as the process sends a UK SMS.

Once you have cash credit on your account switch off and on again and leave it for a bit and see if that helps.

If not then try syncing with iTunes.

Hope this helps.
