What exactly is happening with your phone?

What make/model?

Are you sure that it can't be rectified easily?

Why not buy an unlocked phone and stay with 48?

Or buy a locked one and get it unlocked "unofficially"?

If you do decide to leave 48 then there is nothing to it - you just leave and ask the new operator to port your number over from 48 if you want to keep it.

Hope this helps.

My phone is starting to act up and I possibly need to get replacement! If so, I'll need to change networks. Does anyone know how to go about leaving 48? Is it a difficult procedure? TIA
