Maybe 48 can block a number for you - log a support request to ask them:

I know with android , which I am on i have a different messaging system which i downloaded (Gosms). It allows me to blacklist numbers so that they cannot message me or call me either. I am not sure if there is this app for IOS but again I am sure they have something similar in the application store.

Otherwise do as Dalyer mentioned and report the number to 48 who can try and block it from calling your phone!

As far as I can tell you need to jailbreak an iPhone and then use the likes of iBlacklist from the Cydia store to do this.

Not everybody will want to jailbreak for various reasons...

Some versions of Android have options under call settings to specify blacklisted numbers.

Depends on the phone and operating system version.

Some have ways of blacklisting specific numbers but you'd have to post more info (handset make and model) or look this up yourself.

48 may be able to block a number for you if you log a support request asking them.

If it's a real nuisance then you could report it to the Gardai.
