WiFi works but 3g or 4G data doesn't work on my HTC one. I just got it this week. Tried setting up apn with pap but that spent work. Any idea how I can get 3 g?

Try the online configurator:

If that doesn't work download the Tweakker APN app over wifi and run it to configure your settings:
