I just changed to 48 from vodafone, ive got a nokia lumia 520 but the online instructions are for an older version as ive updated to nokia cyan, any suggestions please ?

Try the generic settings if your phone isn't listed, that should do the trick 🙂

Also:

Make sure data roaming is enabled. This is because 48 run off the O2 network.

If that or the generic settings mentioned above don't work then search the forum for Lumia 520 as several people previously asked about this and the relevant threads may be of help.
