Can't change my number to Lidl Connect

Hi, I want to change to Lidl connect but 48 won't let me move my number. My husband had no issues. Why could this be? Thanks

Are you sure that you selected the same account type as your husband?

Registered prepay?

Sorry to bother you. I'm in the same boat as the original poster.

I thought registered means you showed ID when signing up? I chose unregistered, do you think Registered is what users should be selecting?

Did unregistered prepay work for you?

My understanding is that all 48 accounts are registered prepay.

Registered means that you provided some personal information when signing up.

E.g. name, address, email address etc.

I don't think that it necessarily means that you provided photo id.

Ah, thanks for the replay.
No, unregistered prepay has not worked for me as of yet. I am currently still awaiting porting to initiate, 36 hours after request.

I really wasn't sure what I was doing, as I remember, the Lidl Connect app described "registered" as meaning you showed ID, whereas if you didn't show ID, it is "unregistered".

I didn't think twice, and just assumed that the use of ID or not is the only consideration. I now think this was a mistake, and Registered would be the correct choice.

As it stands, I don't know if the porting of my number will be successful or not because I am still waiting.

However, the long wait in and of itself could be an indication that I made a mistake and should have selected registered.

I've done both options - and both have been rejected.

I have a family of 6 phones, 3 with 48, 2 with GoMo and 1 with Vodafone

the GoMo and the Vodafones ones have been successfully migrated - the 48 ones are the only ones that didn't work, no matter what settings I choose.

At this point, i'm tending to think it's deliberate.

What do you mean by "both options"?

You mean prepay registered and prepay unregistered?

Prepay registered should work.

You need to ask Lidl Connect why the porting isn't working.

I tried lidl connect for 2 days... not worth to switch. Lidl (Eir) 5G is way slower than 48's 4G
