Almost certainly a scam especially if you're not a customer of Three and are receiving it on your 48 number.

Yeah it’s a scam, lots of people are getting that message. They are just going by people’s first digits which indicates who their phone number started with (Three - 083, eir - 085, Vodafone - 087 etc.) in the hopes you’re still with them and believe it.
