I never received my €7.99 free months credit? Why is this?

Are you sure that you don't have €7.99 cash credit on your account as a bonus?
If not then you'll have to contact 48 support and ask them about this.

I have contacted contact 48 support 4 times about this and I am still waiting for ther to contact me about this.

I joined 48 today having activated my number from a URL sent to me.... How do you know when both parties receive their free month?

I'm pretty sure that it's actually cash credit that they give you and then you can buy a membership with it.
Either way it'll appear on your respective My48 accounts when it comes through.
