Yes I did all that but my data was still slow so I went on to 3 apn since it's the same network and the only thing missing in 48 apn settings is on APN Type and on 3 it's default, supl, xcap
Every other setting is the 48 apn setting. My Internet is better

It's not really clear what you're asking about here or what issue you're having but the 48 APN settings are explained here:

https://community.48.ie/t5/The-Knowledge-Base/Data-APN-Settings-i-e-Internet-amp-MMS-Settings/ta-p/53106

If you're on Android then you can text "APN" to 50048 and follow the instructions here to configure the settings:

https://community.48.ie/t5/The-Newsroom/APN-Settings-step-by-step-guide-for-50048/m-p/60689

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

I don't understand.

APN Type = default, supl, mms is specified in the link that I posted above.

On three Ireland there apn type is default, supl, xcap. So I copied this because I was getting slow internet with all the settings from 48 even though it's the same network and I changed this and now I'm getting better internet

Did you try it with APN Type = default, supl, mms?

I can't see how xcap can make any difference to your mobile data connectivity or performance to be honest.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're asking.

Did you try APN Type = default, supl, mms instead of APN Type = default, supl, xcap?

I can't see why xcap would make any difference to your mobile connectivity and reliability.
