Hi just got a new phone i have data on my phone but won't leave me use google or chromes search , I can use apps but not google ? Has this got to do with my 48

That sounds very odd.

If your APN is configured correctly and mobile data is working for other apps then it doesn't make sense that it wouldn't also work for Google/Chrome.

What happens when you try?

Any error messages?

If you try another browser app does it work?

Perhaps the app permissions are preventing Google/Chrome from using the mobile data connection?

Do Google/Chrome work when on a WiFi local area network connection?

Was it working on your old phone?

What make and model is the new phone?
