Getting calls from people saying they are returning call

Has anyone else gotten calls from people saying they are returning a missed call.

I have had 3 people in the last week say this to me and when i check my call history there is no outgoing call logged.

I cant understand how someone else could call someone with my phone number

Seems a regular thing nowadays, I get lots of these and being a business reply,to be told I never rang you. Some scam.

Yes, it's a common problem on all mobile networks.

Number spoofing is easy for scammers to do.

Just search the form for lots of previous reports.

Nothing that you can do other than follow the guidance from ComReg regarding scam calls and number spoofing etc.:

They talked about getting service providers to do more to prevent such nuisances over a year ago but still nothing has happened bm:
