Roaming data used up & data add-on hasn't extended it

So I have run out of data allowance while roaming in the EU. And according to the information I found on my48 I should be able to top up 1GB at a time with add-ons. So I purchased a €3 add-on. But it added that to my standard roaming bundle that I would use at home, not my roaming data!? So I'm still stuck with no data abroad because it's run out. Does anyone know how to add on or swap over more data to your Roaming Data allowance?

Get onto 48 support and tell them that the data add-on hasn't extended your roaming data allowance as it's supposed to according to their own FAQ.
