Data add-ons not extending roaming data allowance

I keep spending an extra €3 for an extra GB of data while in spain, and the system keeps adding it to my home allowance (which I am not using while in spain) and not to my 10gb roaming allowance. I have contacted the help desk by email and they just deny there is a problem, even though I have spent €6 on extra data I have not received.

That's very strange and frustrating.

It certainly says here that a data add-on should extend your roaming data allowance if you've used up the normal membership bundled allowance:
