Problems connecting dongle & tablet

I have my sim in a Huawei E5576 dongle, and connect to it using a Lenovov tablet.

However nearly everyday it take ages for the tablet to connect to the 'WiFi'

Is there a trick to getting everything to connect smoothly everytime?

How do I change the settings on the dongle?

On the tablet I cannot change the APN settings - because I am connecting via WiFi

You'll need to check the documentation for your dongle.
Normally there's a web interface to configure these things.

No. The device needs to be unlocked for use on any network before it can be used on 48.
