New Sim won't work with Huawei B593

Hi all

I got a new 48 SIM, and activated it on a phone.

When I put it into an unlocked Huawei B593 router, it doesn't work.

The router's "MODE" light flashes between red and purple.

The manual for the router says this means SIM isn't recognised or unlocked.

Anyone got any ideas as to what might be wrong and how I can fix it?

Did you log into the router's web admin interface to check the status?
Did you configure the internet/APN settings and SIM PIN (if you did not disable SIM PIN locking when activating the SIM In the phone?)?
