Tesco Mobile showing as carrier

Hi,

Recently aswitched to 48. All good, APN configured correctly and calls, sms & data all working correctly.

Only issue is my phone (Huawei P20) shows 'Tesco Mobile' top left corner as my carrier and not '48'. I've seen other people's phones showing '48' so not sure why mine does not.

Any ideas?

If everything is working then just ignore it.
Some phones misidentify virtual networks such as Tesco, 48, GoMo, Lyca etc and display the wrong name.
Sometimes a phone software update will fix this.
But it's purely a display/cosmetic issue and won't cause problems or extra charges so don't worry about it.
