How/where are you trying to do this?

On the website, via the app, by text?

What error do you get?

Can you try another method (web, app, text) to see if that makes any difference?

I am using the app, a red error sign, saying please try again, no luck

I don't know why that is.

Can you try the website ore try buying the add-on by text:

You can also check balances etc. by short code if you are having problems on the app etc.
