Internet not working on most apps?

Change over to 48 recently.. can make and receive calls.. WhatsApp is working and YouTube is a little sketchey at times..
Google search is not working and quite a few other apps can not connect to Internet..
I have followed the link and procedure regarding APN .. TESCO mobile was showing !!
Is 48 owned by Tesco?
My last provider was Vodafone..
This is not getting the issue resolved..

48 is owned by Eir and uses the Eir network.

Tesco Mobile is a separate virtual operator that also uses the Eir network.

Some phones can misidentify MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) and show the wrong name.

If your APN settings are configured correctly and it shows Tesco instead of 48 then that's just a display name issue and doesn't affect connectivity.

If your APN settings are configured correctly but you are still having issues with certain connected apps then it's likely to be some issue with your phone settings or app permissions.

If you can try your SIM in another unlocked phone then it might clarify matters further.

Another option is too try a replacement SIM in case that makes any difference.

What happens with other apps that can't connect ?
