What do you mean by the Tesco APN settings?

How exactly do they differ from the 48 settings here?

https://community.48.ie/t5/The-Knowledge-Base/Data-APN-Settings-i-e-Internet-amp-MMS-Settings/ta-p/53106

Do you mean these settings?

https://www.tescomobile.ie/help-centre/settings-set-up/send-settings

Some phones misidentify Mobile Virtual Network Operators such as 48 or Lycamobile etc. as something else such as Tesco but everything works ok otherwise.

Maybe that's the case here?

If your mobile data is working ok then that's all that matters.

With 48 you can't be charged anything more in such a situation.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

When I'm in Ireland my mobile data does not work when I have the 48 APN settings. It does work when I use the Tesco Mobile APN settings. How can this be?
